Free Standing WebViewer® (FSWV) System is a table or benchtop-mounted stand and boom Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) system designed for precise internal inspection of complex components. The system provides manual or motorized vertical and horizontal movement, enabling controlled and repeatable inspections.
This UV camera inspection system is specifically designed for Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) applications. It is commonly used for inspecting the internal surfaces of combustion turbine drums, shafts, and spools.
The system also displays encoded elevation, horizontal travel, and radial reach values directly on-screen, allowing inspectors to track camera position and maintain accurate inspection documentation.
Applications
The SeeUV® Free Standing WebViewer® System is widely used in aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities for performing FPI and MPI inspections inside combustion turbine drums, shafts, and spool components.
3-Axis Motorized Movement
The system supports three-axis motorized positioning, including:
-
Horizontal movement
-
Vertical movement
-
Radial insertion
Encoded position values are displayed on-screen, ensuring:
Interchangeable Optical Adapters
Interchangeable optical adapters allow the user to adjust the direction of view in five different angles:
-
0°
-
60° forward
-
60° aft
-
90° forward
-
90° aft
This feature allows inspectors to observe complex geometries from the correct viewing angle while meeting common aerospace inspection requirements.
Aerospace Compliance
The system meets or exceeds aerospace industry requirements for:
-
Visual acuity
-
UV light quality
-
Mechanical repeatability
These features ensure proper scan overlap during inspection, resulting in reliable and verifiable inspection results.
